DDD - Digital Development Debates
The Development Policy Forum publishes the English-language online magazine Digital Development Debates (DDD).
Since the first issue was published in September 2010, the magazine has become an internationally established format read in over 130 countries. The topics covered in DDD are explored from a journalistic perspective, which appeals to a wide range of readers. The magazine often chooses to present a familiar issue from a unique point of view and take up completely new issues. The authors who write for DDD are all reputable experts or young talents from the fields of science, politics and journalism. The journalistic style ensures that experts and laypersons alike enjoy and learn from the reports.
DDD covers a wide array of issues and approaches, deliberately choosing controversial topics so as to spark and drive debate. It focuses on bringing different interest groups into the conversation and creating networks.
The magazine also amplifies the Development Policy Forum’s events, building on and contributing to the topics they cover. Many participants are also authors, so that the forum created by the events is continued in the digital world.
